https://dalek.zone/videos/watch/e4b93737-9fdf-453b-a750-cd8a81f24791 🎃 Halloween’s just around the corner, so I thought I’d get you in the spirit with my original tune, “Jacks & Sevens!” 🎸👻 When I wrote this song, I wanted to create an arrangement that featured an alternating bassline while simultaneously playing chords with the Bigsby tremolo and an octave melody on top. To pull it all together, I came up with a tuning I’d never used before: E–G–E–G–B–E. If you’d like to learn this style of fingerpicking, percussive backbeat slaps, alternate tunings, and the art of combining basslines, chords, and melodies into a single performance, head over to https://JustinJohnsonGuitar.com! I teach all of these techniques in extensive detail, breaking them down step by step so you can incorporate them into your own playing. You’ll also find complete guitar tablature for this performance, along with detailed video walkthroughs exploring the arrangement and the techniques behind it. And whether you’re just picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to master advanced techniques like these, https://JustinJohnsonGuitar.com has a huge library of lessons covering all skill levels and a wide variety of guitar styles. Hope to see you there! 🤘🎸 Https://JustinJohnsonGuitar.com Fri, 16 Oct 2026 10:50:54 GMT https://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/rss2.html PeerTube - https://dalek.zone https://dalek.zone/lazy-static/avatars/958461d1-6a1e-41b1-962e-d8f79c4e0f1b.png https://dalek.zone/videos/watch/e4b93737-9fdf-453b-a750-cd8a81f24791 All rights reserved, unless otherwise specified in the terms specified at https://dalek.zone/about and potential licenses granted by each content's rightholder.
