This allows me to use all four fretting fingers to play the melody, bass line, and chord changes simultaneously, while still having a slide ready to incorporate those expressive, vocal-like inflections during the solos. If you’d like to try one for yourself, you can grab my Signature Ring Slide at: 👉 https://JustinJohnsonStore.com And if you’d like to learn how to play this style of fingerpicking and slide guitar, check out my guitar lesson platform at https://JustinJohnsonGuitar.com! I teach this solo fingerstyle approach in detail, including how to multitask the melody, alternating bass lines, and chord changes to create a complete arrangement on a single guitar. I also have multiple dedicated slide guitar lesson series, covering everything from your very first notes with a slide to advanced techniques, phrasing, and expressive lead playing. Whether you’ve never picked up a slide before or you’re looking to take your playing to the next level, there’s plenty to dig into! 🎸 https://JustinJohnsonGuitar.com Mon, 19 Oct 2026 08:32:41 GMT https://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/rss2.html PeerTube - https://dalek.zone https://dalek.zone/lazy-static/avatars/958461d1-6a1e-41b1-962e-d8f79c4e0f1b.png https://dalek.zone/videos/watch/10224a14-df35-45d5-822a-88e0f8dadfee All rights reserved, unless otherwise specified in the terms specified at https://dalek.zone/about and potential licenses granted by each content's rightholder.
