If you do that, once the cutscene is over, Guybrush will disappear and become omnipresent. And, when you leave the current screen, you'll become Bigbrush. And you will keep the item slide. Sounds too good to be true, and it kind of is. Keeping the item slide until you die means you can't become Bigbrush before dying. The biggest timesave comes when you skip the "THE END" cutscene at the windmill and then use the omnipresent state to use the measuring cup or the empty jar with the barrel. That saves about 11 seconds.. When you do that, Guybrush will do an animation to use these items with the barrel, which means you won't become Bigbrush anymore. Since you've still got the item slide at this point, you can still go to Elaine's and become Bigbrush. But at this point of the game, you've alredy done most of the tasks where Bigbrush is useful. Still, that 11 seconds timesave might make it worth it.
